Today in things that made me cry
Well, I nearly cried. I had to stop myself.
First I read this rather sterling piece of reporting from Rolling Stone:

and was alternately devastated and enraged. I couldn’t form my thoughts with any kind of coherence because they were busy being assaulted by those aforementioned alternating emotions.
This article rather neatly sums up how I feel way better than I ever could because Rachel from Autostraddle is a writing Goddess.

Seriously, it would be nice to see some new faces etc. Make friends for the next LUYD! event or folk you can hang out with and talk about that stuff we queermos like to talk about (processing, veganism, tea etc.) and generally just have a good time. I met my girlfriend at one of these. I’ve made good friends at these. I have basically done more gay stuff since I joined Autostraddle. So, y’know, maybe get on that!

I’m super excited for the next few days. Tomorrow I’m getting my hair cut and coloured for the first time since May so it desperately needs done. Then on Saturday I’m getting an early train down to Edinburgh to kick it with Angela and Jane before the Autostraddle/Autoscot meet-up and meeting Fiona in real life as well. Potential Wannaburger visit. I am excite for big gay night out. STOKED. RAD. DUDE.
